About the Club:
The Patrons' Club is a group of Conservative supporters, including local employers, business and professional people and others, who wish to influence political policies and decisions. It provides a direct link for its members with our Member of Parliament and MEP, with national and local government, and with those who direct political and business affairs. It raises funds for the Conservative Party and its members enjoy the stimulating company of good friends. Its current Chairman is Mr Alan Dickinson
The Club holds two main functions each year:
- In London, a dinner at The Carlton Club or a Livery Hall with a guest speaker;
- In the country, a reception and lunch or supper at a place of interest with a guest speaker.
Membership:
There are three categories of Membership:
- Individual. This entitles the member to attend two functions, the cost of which is included in the subscription. Paying guests may also be invited
- Joint membership. This entitles husband and wife (or two partners) to attend the two functions, the cost being included in the subscription. Paying guests may also be invited
- Corporate. Companies, firms or partnerships may join; membership entitles to persons to attend each function. Paying guests may also be invited.
