Rt. Hon. Robert Jenrick, MP.
Robert Jenrick is a leading and prominent Conservative MP, coming second to Kemi Badenoch in the 2024 leadership election. As a former Immigration Minister, and having resigned from the previous government on this issue, he holds strong views on the subject including advocating withdrawal from the ECHR. He is also a strong, but not uncritical, supporter of Israel and of the right to freedom of speech.
Robert Jenrick was elected as MP for Newark in 2014. He has held numerous senior government appointments and is currently Shadow Secretary of State for Justice.
